Punjab govt ensuring 24 hour health services at Sri Anandpur Sahib

Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government has been ensuring 24-hour health and emergency services to facilitate needy patients during the commemoration events of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s 350th Martyrdom Day at Sri Anandpur Sahib. 24-hour Emergency Services are operational across Ropar, Kiratpur Sahib, and Sri Anandpur Sahib apart from this Critical Care Services at Sri Anandpur Sahib and Ropar.

The health department has established an extensive network of OPD services by establishing additional 19 mobile Aam Aadmi Clinics across the event locations running 24 hours a day.

On November 22, a total of 1,111 patients have availed health services at these clinics and around 100 lab tests have also been conducted. Free eye check-up initiative ("Nigha Langar") has performed 522 total eye examinations and a total of 390 spectacles have been distributed. One patient has undergone cataract surgery at the District Hospital Ropar.

Punjab government has deployed a strong ambulance network, including 24 Basic Life Support Ambulances and 7 Advanced Life Support Ambulances, stationed at strategic locations 24 hours a day. In addition, special blood donation camps are scheduled which would commence from a camp to be held at Virasat-e-Khalsa on November 25.
