CHANDIGARH: School competitions related to the National Education Policy-2020 are being organized at all India Level in the Country. In this series, various competitions of school students will be organized at the block level by October 5, 2020 in Haryana. The participants will have to upload their entries on website: www.mynep.in by October 2, 2020.
Giving information in this regard, a spokesperson of Department of School Education, Haryana said that the Government of India has implemented the National Education Policy -2020, keeping in view of overall development of Students. Following the same, 'My New Education Policy Competition' is being organized in 13 languages across the country. These competitions will be on 'India-Centric Education', 'Holistic Education', 'Knowledge-Based Society' and 'Quality Education' subjects.

According to the spokesperson, competition events include two-minute speech, handmade posters, letters to the Prime Minister, 300-word essay and meme-making contest for class 9th to 12th students. He said that Rs 10,000, Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 1,000 will be awarded as first, second, third and consolation prizes respectively. These awards will be given separately in every language and participation certificate will also be given to all the participants. He said that all the District Education Officers, District Elementary Education Officers and District Project Coordinators have been directed to send a detailed report of the competitions to be conducted at the block level on culturalfesthry@gmail.com.
