- Police raid near Old Bus Stand; organized network suspected

A sex racket operating under the cover of spa centers was busted by police in Kaithal city on Wednesday. The Civil Lines police station team conducted raids at two spa centers located near the flyover close to the Old Bus Stand, detaining seven women and two men.
SHO Ramniwas said that the police had been receiving complaints for a long time regarding illegal activities at these spa centers. Acting on these inputs, a joint operation was carried out in the presence of DSP Headquarters Veerbhan. During the raid, two men were found in an objectionable condition, confirming the illegal activities.
A large crowd gathered at the spot during the operation, which limited on-site questioning. All the suspects have been brought to the Civil Lines police station for further interrogation. According to police, special packages were offered to attract customers, especially students. No official records of the detained individuals were found at the spa centers, raising further suspicion.
Women Brought from Other Cities
Initial investigation has revealed that women were brought in from cities like Delhi and Chandigarh for this illegal operation. A well-organized system was reportedly involved in supplying women from different locations. The police have sealed both spa centers for now. The owners are currently absconding and efforts are underway to trace them.
