SHE-Forum give new identity to women entrepreneurs

PHDCCI established Women’s wing for entrepreneurs

Products of women entrepreneurs will get international market

Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh, March 10-
PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry established women’ cell SHE-Forum with the aim of making women self-reliant and providing a better platform to women entrepreneurs. During the event, Bharti Sood Regional Director PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, encouraged women entrepreneurs, salaried professionals, aspiring housewives and enthusiasts from all walks of life to join the PHDCCI SHE-Forum and actively participate in its diverse activities.
She said that by doing so she can take advantage of innumerable opportunities for development, cooperation and empowerment.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Madhu Pandit Founder and CEO of Inner Wellness, apprised the participants about the benefits of meditation in today's hectic life which everyone, especially women, is living. He demonstrated a variety of breathing exercises that calm the body as well as the mind.

Dr. Vibha Bawa Founder OJAS Fitness Clinic & Educational Centre, created awareness about the variety of health benefits of eating right, depending on the individual's goals as well as blood group. Their discussion points focused on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, mindful eating habits and stress management for the overall health of both women and men.

HPRS Officer Poonam Thakur, who arrived specially from Himachal, focused on the importance of investment in girl child education. She said empowerment starts with responsibility and women today should invest in themselves. She also encouraged women to acknowledge each other's achievements.
C S Meghna Saini Head of Legal and Secretarial, Dalmia Bharat Group, discussed various aspects of the POSH Act and what types of situations can or cannot be classified under it. He said the intention of the law is not to encourage fake reports but to urge genuine concerned parties to speak out and take action against such crimes.

Radio jockey RJ Geet talked about the various changes that come in a woman's life after marriage and how all such experiences shape her life. Musician Ms. Sunaini Sharma enthralled the participants with her soulful voice. He discussed his journey towards Punjabi folk music and how he started the journey of research on Punjabi folk music.
Advocate Pooja Nayyar, convenor of PHDCCI Women Development Committee, expressed her gratitude to the guests and called upon them to move ahead in the industry by associating with SHE-Forum.
