Tears of Joy: Three missing children reunited with parents

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Police has been constantly working to bring the smile back to the faces of families whose children had gone missing for one or another reason. Once again, the police have set an example of humanity by reuniting three missing children with their families.

While giving this information here today, a spokesman of Haryana Police said that in the first case, Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) had succeeded in reuniting a boy missing for last 2 years to his family. This 10-year-old child was living at Children's Home Jhajjar. It is noteworthy that the process of adoption of this child had been done by CWC Jhajjar and the adoptive parents wanted to take the child with them to Australia.

During this time, based on the information provided by the child, his father was found out in Lakhimpur Kheri near Hardoi by the AHTU team. When a contact was made with the child's family, they told that this child had gone missing from Delhi two years ago and there was no clue about him. The boy was handed over to his family on 5.10.2020 through CWC Jhajjar.

In another case, the AHTU team has succeeded in reuniting a mentally retarded child missing from 7 months and was living in Ashiana, Panchkula. Based on the language being spoken by the child, the Uttar Pradesh Police Saharanpur was contacted and it was found that the child has been missing from Sheikhpura for 7 months. When the video calling was made to his family, they identified the child and after adopting legal process, the boy was handed over to his parents.

At the same time, in a separate case, a missing child from the past 3 days was reunited with his parents. Information was received by the Rajasthan Police that a child was found at the railway station. Based on the information received Bahadurgarh Railway Police was contacted. He was traced as the child's mother had come to the police station to register a missing report. Police took orders from Bikaner CWC and handed over the child to parents.
