The conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran has entered its 27th day, with tensions escalating and no clear path toward peace.

The United States has issued a fresh and stern warning to Iran. White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said that President Donald Trump is “absolutely serious” and ready to take stronger action if Iran refuses to step back. According to the US, failure to concede could lead to a more forceful response than before.

Iran, however, has outright rejected the US-backed ceasefire proposal. It has made it clear that it will not end the conflict on Washington’s terms and does not trust the American peace initiative.

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said there are currently no meaningful negotiations taking place. While some countries are attempting to mediate, he emphasized that these efforts cannot be considered formal talks. For now, hopes of peace remain dim.

Iran Grants India Permission to Pass Through Hormuz

In a key development, Iran has allowed several “friendly nations” — including India, China, Russia, Iraq, and Pakistan — to continue using the strategically crucial Strait of Hormuz.

As per ANI, citing the Iranian Consulate in Mumbai, these countries have been exempted from restrictions. Iran also clarified that the Strait is not fully closed—only nations considered hostile are being blocked, while others can pass under certain conditions.

With both sides holding firm and no active negotiations underway, the situation remains tense and uncertain.
