Haryana Chief Electoral Officer Anurag Agarwal, stated that after the final publication of the electoral roll, the total number of voters in the state is 1,97,25,257, comprising 1,04,74,461 male voters and 92,50,796 female voters. He appealed to all voters to review the photo-enabled voter lists. Voters should verify whether their name, photo, and other details in the voter list are correct.
Anurag Agarwal said that if any details in the voter list are incorrect, citizens can apply to rectify them. If there is a duplicate name in the voter list, Form 6 can be filled. Similarly, if an ineligible person's name is included, Form 7 can be filled to remove that name. Additionally, Form-8 can be submitted for corrections in the details of the registered voter. Information available in the voter list can also be rectified through the Voter Helpline App, Voter Portal, and BLO.
The Chief Electoral Officer of Haryana stated that the foundation of democracy lies with citizens, a significant portion of whom have the right to vote. Therefore, all voters should exercise their rights properly. It is essential that their names are included in the voter list so that they do not face any difficulty in casting their valuable vote.
