A case of alleged rape has been reported from a colony under the City Police Station area in Kaithal, involving a 25-year-old woman. The accused, a young man from the same neighborhood, has been booked for allegedly sexually assaulting her on the pretext of marriage.
According to the complaint filed by the victim, the accused lured her with a promise of marriage in November 2025 and took her to a hotel in the city, where he established physical relations with her. He allegedly assured her that he would marry her soon.
However, the woman later found out that the accused married another woman. She has accused him of deceiving her and exploiting her under the false promise of marriage, and has demanded strict action against him.
Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against the accused and initiated an investigation. Authorities stated that further action will be taken based on the findings of the probe.
