Following the guidelines of the Election Commission of India, the second special revision of voter lists for all assembly constituencies in the state is currently in progress, with the revision date set as July 1, 2024. On August 2, 2024, the preliminary publication of voter lists for all polling stations across the state's 90 assembly constituencies was completed by the respective electoral registration officers.
Haryana CEO Pankaj Agarwal said that claims and objections for new voter registrations will be accepted from eligible individuals until August 16, as part of this second special revision. During this period, any eligible person can submit the required forms to the BLO at their respective booth for new voter registration. Apart from this, special campaigns will be conducted on August 3, 4, 10, and 11 (Saturdays and Sundays). On these days, BLOs will be present at the booths to collect forms for new voter registration and to correct any errors.
He stated that eligible individuals can fill out Form-6 with the necessary documents to include their names in the voter lists. Using Form-8, any eligible person can update their previously registered details and change their residential address in the voter list.
