Haryana's Irrigation Minister, Dr. Abhe Singh Yadav, distributed possession certificates to 266 beneficiaries under the Mahatma Gandhi Gramin Basti Yojana in Narnaul today. At the event, attendees also watched the state-level ceremony held in Sonipat by Chief Minister, Nayab Singh on a large screen and listened to his address live.
Congratulating the beneficiaries in Narnaul, the Irrigation Minister said that the state is working with the spirit of Antyodaya. He mentioned that after providing possession of 100-square-yard plots under the Mahatma Gandhi Gramin Basti Yojana, all types of basic amenities will now be provided in these colonies. He also stated that domestic connections will soon be provided in colonies where they are currently lacking.
He emphasized that both the central and state governments are continuously running numerous schemes for the benefit of poor citizens. The main objective of these schemes is to ensure that even the poorest individuals can join the mainstream and contribute to the country's development.
