A friendship spanning over four decades, cherished memories, and iconic films—Anil Kapoor shares an emotional note for Jackie Shroff

Bollywood veteran actor Anil Kapoor wished his close friend and co-star Jackie Shroff a very special happy birthday in a warm and emotional manner. On Sunday, marking Jackie Shroff’s birthday, Anil Kapoor took to social media to share a collage of throwback pictures featuring the two, instantly striking a chord with fans.

Along with the photos, Anil Kapoor wrote, “Some bonds go beyond one lifetime…. Grateful for you in every janam, Jaggu Da. Happy Birthday, Ram @bindasbhidu.” The message beautifully reflected the depth of their friendship and highlighted one of Bollywood’s most enduring and respected bonds.

Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff have shared the screen in several memorable films over the years. Their collaborations include “Andar Baahar” (1984), “Ram Lakhan” (1989), “Karma” (1986), “Parinda” (1989), “1942: A Love Story” (1994), “Trimurti” (1995), “Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja” (1993), “Lajja” (1998), and “Shootout at Wadala” (2013). Their on-screen chemistry has always been appreciated by audiences and remains iconic even today.

Beyond their professional journey, Anil and Jackie share a deep personal friendship. When their debut film together, “Andar Baahar,” completed 41 years in December, Anil Kapoor had reflected on how the movie laid the foundation for a bond that has only grown stronger with time. He shared rare pictures from the film and mentioned that what began as a healthy rivalry eventually transformed into unconditional love, respect, and admiration for one another.

Anil Kapoor revealed that their friendship matured quietly over the years, surviving the highs and lows of the film industry and standing strong even after four decades.

On the work front, Anil Kapoor will next be seen leading director Suresh Triveni’s upcoming film “Subedaar.” The drama revolves around Arjun Singh, a former soldier struggling to adapt to civilian life while trying to mend his strained relationship with his daughter Shyama, played by Radhikka Madan. Additionally, Anil Kapoor will also be seen in Alia Bhatt’s much-anticipated film “Alpha.”
