- Yadavindra Public School run by the family of former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh also received threats

Around 12 schools in Patiala received bomb threat emails on Thursday morning, prompting immediate action from authorities. Police went on high alert, and all schools were evacuated after sending students back home. Thorough checks of school premises are currently underway.
Among the schools that received threats are Yadavindra Public School run by the family of former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh along with Apollo Public School, KV Patiala, and Mount Litera School. DSP Satnam Singh confirmed that the threatening emails are being investigated.
Meanwhile, in Moga, three private schools also received bomb threats via email. These include Narayana e-Techno School, SFC School, and West Point School. The email reportedly warned of a bomb blast at 1:10 PM.
Neena Singh, Principal of Narayana e-Techno School, said the email was discovered after the morning assembly at around 8:20 AM. The school management immediately informed the district administration and sent nearly 330 students home.
Police teams, including bomb disposal squads, swiftly reached the locations and conducted detailed searches of the school premises and surrounding areas. Authorities later declared the schools safe.
