Ambala’s young bodybuilder wins Junior (55–60 kg) title at the 14th Mr Chandigarh Championship, sets sights on international competitions
Young bodybuilder Hitesh Dhillon from Ambala district in Haryana has achieved a major milestone in the world of bodybuilding through his dedication and hard work. He won the Mr Chandigarh title in the Junior Wing (55–60 kg category) at the 14th Mr Chandigarh Bodybuilding Championship. The prestigious competition was held on March 9 at SD College in Sector 32, Chandigarh, where many talented athletes participated.
Following his achievement, Hitesh received a grand welcome in Sector 3 of Kurukshetra. Family members, relatives, and friends gathered to congratulate him and praised his hard work and determination. On the occasion, Hitesh dedicated his victory to his gym coach Praveen Dalal and his family for supporting him throughout his journey.
Hitesh shared that he has been passionate about fitness and sports since childhood. He was motivated to pursue bodybuilding by his uncle. Although his uncle could not continue in the field due to financial difficulties, he always encouraged Hitesh and helped him move forward. Inspired by him, Hitesh began gym training and gradually stepped into the world of bodybuilding.
With regular training, strict discipline, and continuous practice, his physique developed rapidly. Under the guidance of his gym coach Praveen Dalal, he improved his preparation and performance significantly. His hard work paid off when he won the Mr Ambala title in 2024 and also secured second place at the Haryana-level competition.
Hitesh believes that dedication, confidence, and passion for one’s work are the true keys to success. His next target is to win the Mr Northern India title. After that, he aims to compete at national and international bodybuilding competitions. Hitesh is determined to bring recognition to his village Garnala and make a mark on the international stage through his achievements.
