CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal, on behalf of the people of the state, has congratulated President, Ram Nath Kovind on his 76th birthday.
In a message issued here today, Chief Minister said that President, Kovind has been active in the politics of the country for a long time and he has left an indelible mark by serving people while holding various positions. In spite of being President, his gesture of touching the feet of his mentors on the occasion of Teachers' Day presented a unique example of India's ancient ‘Guru- Shishya' tradition and enchanted everyone.
The Chief Minister said that even as an educationist, Mr. Ram Nath Kovind has also taken a unique initiative of implementation of new 'National Education Policy 2020' through virtual conferencing in the wake of Corona Pandemic. He said that every citizen of the country should be proud of such a President. The Chief Minister also wished him a healthy and long life.
