Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Upon His Return To Chandigarh Yesterday Resumed His Work By Convening A High-Level Meeting Of Senior Officers Of Various Departments At His Residence Here Today And Reviewed The Progress Of Various Schemes....

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal upon his return to Chandigarh yesterday resumed his work by convening a high-level meeting of senior officers of various departments at his residence here today and reviewed the progress of various schemes and programmes besides issuing necessary directions.
Various decisions like planning a film city in Pinjore, hiring of drones to check illegal mining, making Agri malls functional etc. were also taken in the meeting.

While reviewing the arrangement for the procurement of kharif crops in the State, he directed that every farmer registered on the “Meri Fasal Mera Byora” portal be asked to indicate their likely convenient dates for bringing their produce to the mandi of their choice as well as whether they would like to be paid directly or through the arthias. He directed the officers to make adequate arrangements for the purchase of farmers' produce in the mandis across the state. He said that it should be ensured that farmers do not face any inconvenience.

He also directed that the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) programme be linked with HRMS. He said that PPP is a unique initiative of the State Government under which each family in the State is being provided a unique Identity. He said that PPP would ensure that people get the benefit of various welfare schemes and programmes at their doorstep. He said that this would not only save their precious time but also ensure transparency in the service delivery.

The Chief Minister directed to expedite the work of preparing property IDs in all Urban Local Bodies of the State for the convenience of people in property related works. He also reviewed the functioning of Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) and Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) and directed to take steps to further enhance their receipts.

Manohar Lal directed to prepare a plan to develop a film city at Pinjore. He said that Haryana is appropriate for film production as hundreds of beautiful locations are available in the State. It may be recalled that Haryana Film Policy also envisages a Film City to be developed in public-private-partnership mode so that the people associated with the world of cinema can operate from a single place.

Among those present in the meeting included Chief Secretary Mrs Keshni Anand Arora, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Mr Rajesh Khullar, Additional Chief Secretary, Home Mr Vijai Vardhan, Additional Chief Secretary Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Mr Sanjeev Kaushal, Additional Chief Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Mr P.K Das, Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Mr S.N Roy, DGP Mr Manoj Yadava, Director General, Urban Local Bodies Mr Amit Kumar Agrawal and other senior officers of the State Government.
