Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, today hoisted the National Flag at his official residence in Chandigarh to mark the 79th Independence Day.
Greeting the people of the state, the Chief Secretary emphasised the significance of the day, stating, "Independence Day is a celebration of our freedom and a tribute to the countless patriots whose sacrifices made it possible. It is our solemn duty to uphold the principles of unity, integrity, and democracy that they cherished."
Commissioner and Secretary, Human Resources Department, C.G. Rajini Kaanthan, Special Secretary, Personnel, Training and Parliamentary Affairs Department, Dr. Aditya Dahiya, Special Secretary, Monitoring and Coordination, Dr. Priyanka Soni, Special Secretary, Secretariat Establishment, Samwartak Singh Khangwal, staff of the Haryana Civil Secretariat and other officials were present on the occasion.
