Haryana Police Have Arrested A Most-Wanted Criminal From Kaithal District. A Country Made Pistol And One Cartridge Was Also Recovered From His Possession

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Police have arrested a most-wanted criminal from Kaithal district. A country made pistol and one cartridge was also recovered from his possession.

Giving this information here today, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that arrested accused was identified as Ankit alias Bandar, a resident of Mataur. He was involved in three criminal cases including murder. He had also been declared a proclaimed offender by the Court in July, last year.

A CIA team during evening patrolling near bus adda Mataur, received a tip off about the presence of arrested accused. The team swung into action and nabbed him. He was wanted by Kaithal police for his alleged involvement in a firing incident in August 2019 that left one dead. In addition, he is also found to be involved in two other criminal cases reported in January and August 2019.

He would be produced before the court and further probe is underway.
