Haryana Thunders Top PWL 2026 League Stage with Dominant Win

Aniruddh Gulia and Irina Kolyadenko Lead 6–3 Victory Over UP Dominators, Finish League Stage with 29 Bout Wins

The league stage of the Pro Wrestling League (PWL) 2026 concluded with Haryana Thunders asserting their dominance. In the final league match, Haryana Thunders defeated the UP Dominators 6–3, not only claiming the match but also securing the top spot in the points table. With this win, Haryana Thunders finished the league stage with eight points from five matches and an impressive total of 29 bout wins.

The match reached a thrilling climax when the score was tied at 3–3 after six bouts. Under intense pressure, Haryana star wrestler and Player of the Match Irina Kolyadenko made a dramatic comeback with a fall in the seventh bout, decisively turning the tide in Haryana’s favor and giving the team a crucial lead.

Following this, in the heavyweight category, Aniruddh Gulia showcased his strength and technique by winning the night’s fifth bout for Haryana. His victory dashed the UP Dominators’ hopes of a comeback, securing the 6–3 win for Haryana Thunders. Aniruddh’s performance was a highlight of the evening for fans and spectators.

On the other hand, UP Dominators put up a competitive fight throughout the tournament. With two wins, four points, and 23 bout victories, the team finished fourth in the league stage. Their chances in the semifinals now depend on the outcome of the clash between Punjab Royals and Delhi Dangal Warriors.

Tapsya Gehlawat of UP Dominators delivered an outstanding performance and was awarded Fighter of the Match for her efforts. Overall, the match was a showcase of excitement, determination, and high-level wrestling, while Haryana Thunders’ remarkable display has established them as strong contenders for the PWL 2026 title.
