Statewide Events Held Under the Theme “Empowered Woman, Strong Woman”; Led by Women Wing President Amandeep Kaur Arora

On the occasion of Women Entrepreneurship Day, the Punjab Government celebrated the “Women Honour Programme” across the state with great enthusiasm and respect. Organized under the theme “Empowered Woman, Strong Woman”, the events witnessed participation from hundreds of women entrepreneurs, social activists, and young women. Across various districts, women were honoured for their achievements in entrepreneurship, leadership, and social contribution.

At the main state-level event held in Moga, AAP Punjab Women Wing President and MLA Dr. Amandeep Kaur Arora participated as the chief guest. She honoured women who have played a significant role in Punjab’s economic, social, and community development. Arora stated that women who continue to progress despite limited resources have become an inspiration for society. She added that women’s power is not only the foundation of social development but also a driving force of transformation in every sector.

Dr. Arora also highlighted the policies of the Punjab Government aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs, along with future plans. She said the AAP government does not treat women empowerment as a mere slogan but is committed to making it a ground reality. The government is continuously working to provide more opportunities in entrepreneurship, education, health, safety, and economic independence.

District President Mandeep Kaur Khambay, District Secretary Lovely Singla, and the entire women wing team were also present. Their contribution in making the programme successful was specially acknowledged. Similar honour programmes were held in several districts—Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Patiala, Bathinda, Mansa, Faridkot, and Mohali—where women shared their entrepreneurial journeys and experiences.

Amandeep Kaur Arora said that these events clearly reflect that women across Punjab are ready to take the lead in every sector, and when given the right platform, they can drive major societal change. She added that every woman present has an inspiring story—whether in business, education, startups, or community service.

She emphasized that the Punjab Government is committed to providing women with technical support, financial assistance, skill training, and new opportunities in entrepreneurship so they can become self-reliant. Expressing gratitude to all the women entrepreneurs who participated, she said their achievements will serve as a strong example for future generations.
