Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli, once known for his fearless batting and stylish stroke play, is currently going through a difficult phase in his personal life. The former batting star, who entertained millions during his playing days, is now facing serious health challenges that have concerned fans and the cricket community.
The 54-year-old Kambli first came into the spotlight recently after being admitted to a private hospital in Thane due to a urinary infection. Reports now suggest that he is also struggling with memory-related health issues, raising further concern about his condition.
During this difficult time, his childhood friend and former India teammate Sachin Tendulkar is reportedly standing firmly by his side, ensuring that his medical needs are being taken care of. In addition, several former cricketers have formed a dedicated WhatsApp group to coordinate support for Kambli’s treatment and assist his family financially.
Earlier, legendary cricketers Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev had also extended support for his rehabilitation, reflecting the strong solidarity within the cricket fraternity.
