Opening match in Navi Mumbai, final in Vadodara; two teams change captains ahead of new season
The fourth season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is set to bring exciting cricket action for fans as it begins on January 9. The opening match will be played between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The high-profile clash will take place at 7:30 pm at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, setting the tone for a thrilling season ahead.
A total of five teams will compete in the tournament, which will run for 28 days and feature 22 matches.
