BHATINDA:The Central University of Punjab, Bathinda has started materializing the idea of setting up an integrated platform for the researchers of the top institutions of the country like; Atomic Mineral Directorate for Exploration and Research (AMDER), Hydrabad and Bhaba Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai. The core objective of setting up this integrated platform is to provide the solution of contamination of heavy metals and uranium in the groundwater of Malwa Region of Punjab.

Tiwari as a part of Webinar Series to celebrate the 400th Prakash Purab of ninth Sikh Guru Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The keynote speaker of this Webinar was Prof. Jagbir Singh, Former Professor, Delhi University. Faculty & students from different institutions attended this webinar.

Approx. 80% seats of PG Programmes got filled during first round of first counselling, second round started

BHATINDA: When the other educational institutions across the region are striving hard to fill up their seats during Academic Session 2020-21 Admission Process in COVID-19 times, the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB) once again emerged as the student’s preferred destination for higher education. This is evident from the point as consequent to the declaration of CUCET-2020 Results on 17th October, students from across the country registered for CUPB Counselling started from 19th October and approximately 80% of Seats of PG Programmes got booked by the end of First Round of First Counselling on 27th October 2020. Currently, CUPB is offering 1371 seats in its 42 Master Level Programmes and 177 Seats in its 35 Ph.D. Programmes. CUPB got tremendous response from students since the time of announcement of Admission Process and the university has received around eighty thousand applications in their various PG/Ph.D. Programmes during CUCET-2020 Examination registrations.

General category employees to protest reservation in promotions on June 17
