Amid ongoing global tensions, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has decided to remove Army Chief General Randy George along with two other senior military officials, according to American media reports.

Those relieved of their duties reportedly include General David Hodne and General William Green Jr..

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump made a light-hearted remark regarding a potential deal with Iran. Speaking during an Easter lunch at the White House, Trump joked that if the deal fails, he would blame Vice President JD Vance, but if it succeeds, he would take full credit.

On the diplomatic front, a key vote at the United Nations Security Council on a proposal by Bahrain has been postponed until tomorrow. The proposal calls for allowing countries to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
