KAP Sinha assumes charge as 43rd Chief Secretary of Punjab

Time to pay back immense love showered by people of Punjab: KAP Sinha

The IAS officer of 1992 Batch (Punjab Cadre) KAP Sinha on Thursday assumed charge as the 43rd Chief Secretary of Punjab at the Punjab Civil Secretariat in the presence of several senior officers. The incumbent would also hold the additional charge of Principal Secretary Vigilance, General Administration and Vigilance.

In his address on the occasion, Sinha said that he has received immense love from the Punjab State and its people while serving on various posts in multitude of departments and now at this moment of assuming charge of the new post, he assures that it is time to pay back the respect he has received for which he would work tirelessly.

The citizen centric services would continue to be provided to the people in a transparent & hassle free manner thus giving priority to the overall development of the State as is the main aim of the Punjab Government led by the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, said Mr. Sinha adding that the schemes pertaining to the welfare of people would be implemented with even more vigour.
