Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Balbir Singh Seechewal on Sunday made a significant claim, stating that MPs who recently left the party had invited him to join them, but he firmly refused.

Seechewal revealed that Rajya Sabha MP Vikramjit Singh Sahney had called him and предложed that he join an independent (Azad) group. However, Seechewal said he declined the offer without hesitation.

Expressing disappointment over seven MPs quitting the party together, Seechewal termed the move as a “betrayal” of the Aam Aadmi Party. He said the party had given these leaders an opportunity to raise Punjab’s issues in the Rajya Sabha, but they chose to leave suddenly.

He also expressed surprise over the decisions of Raghav Chadha and Sandeep Pathak, saying that these leaders had fully enjoyed power in Punjab and have now bid farewell to the party.
