Fake Post Case: Retweeter Arrested from Hyderabad; Author Madhu Kishwar Fails to Appear Despite Two Notices

In Fake Post Case Chandigarh Police have arrested an accused Hasan Mohiuddin Siddiqui, from Hyderabad, Telangana. He is accused of amplifying a controversial video by retweeting it. Meanwhile, Madhu Kishwar has been served two notices to join the investigation but has not appeared so far. A case was registered against her on April 19 at Sector-26 police station. The police are now preparing to issue a third notice.

According to SSP Kanwardeep Kaur, one accused has been arrested from Hyderabad and a one-day police remand has been obtained. The case is being thoroughly investigated based on digital evidence. The accused was produced before a court and remanded to one day of police custody. He is currently being questioned based on digital evidence.

During the investigation, it emerged that the video was originally created by a vlogger couple but was misrepresented by certain individuals. The video was retweeted by several users, including author Madhu Kishwar. Police are now working to identify all users involved in sharing the content.
