He said the love, respect, and support he received on set made this journey truly special.
Ahan shared pictures with the main starcast of Border 2 and wrote a personal note for each of them. Calling Sunny Deol a “father figure,” Ahan wrote,

Talking about his bond with Varun Dhawan, Ahan wrote that he sees him as an “older brother.” He praised Varun’s dedication and sincerity, saying,
“Varun — I look up to you as an older brother and will always be grateful for the love and support you’ve given me throughout this journey. You showed up every single day focused, sincere, and always giving more than what was ever asked of you. That generosity stays with me.”
For Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan wrote a warm message, sharing how Diljit treated him like a younger brother and always encouraged him. He added,
“Diljit Sir— The way you embraced me like a younger brother and always rooted for me means more than I can put into words. A warmth that can’t be taught. Full of kindness, laughter, and an energy that instantly puts everyone at ease. Being around you reminded me that joy is just as important as hard work.”
Ahan also praised actress Mona Singh, calling her an incredible performer and a genuinely kind person. His note for her read,
“Mona Ma’am — You aren’t just an incredible actor but also a genuinely kind and grounded human being. It was an absolute pleasure working with you and sharing the screen with someone so inspiring.”

He described Sonam as someone who carries grace effortlessly, while he remembered Anya for her calm presence and brilliant acting instincts. About Medha, he mentioned her honesty and freshness, saying it reminded him why new journeys are just as inspiring as seasoned ones.
In the caption of his post, Ahan wrote that some journeys stay with you even after work is done because of the people you meet along the way. He said he feels grateful, excited, and a little nervous ahead of the film’s release and cannot wait for the audience to watch it.
Earlier, Ahan had also spoken about the “testing times” he faced after his debut film Tadap (2021). He shared that those periods of uncertainty and struggles shaped him and helped him grow. Now, he is looking forward to his second Bollywood film Border 2, calling it a new chapter built on patience, perseverance, and belief.
