Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji has completed 30 years in the film industry, and on this special occasion, actor Anil Kapoor congratulated her with a heartfelt note on social media. Praising her long and successful journey, Anil Kapoor applauded Rani not only for her acting talent but also for the person she is off screen.
Sharing his message, Anil Kapoor wrote, “Dear Rani, 30 years in this ever-changing industry and you continue to be accessible, sellable, tradable, watchable and above all, truly brilliant – as an actress, friend and human being!” He further congratulated her on this remarkable journey and extended his best wishes for her upcoming film Mardaani 3, adding that he would always be rooting for her.
Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukerji share a long-standing friendship. The two actors have known each other for many years and have also worked together in the film Nayak: The Real Hero, where their on-screen chemistry was well received by the audience.
On her 30th work anniversary, which she marked on January 12, Rani Mukerji also shared an emotional letter on the official social media handle of Yash Raj Films. In her note, the actress reflected on her journey and revealed that she entered the film industry without any master plan or long-term ambition. She wrote that acting was not a dream she chased, but something that found her almost by chance.
Rani shared that even today, she feels like that same nervous young girl standing in front of the camera for the first time, hoping she would remember her lines and belong in the world of cinema. She spoke about how films have a unique way of freezing emotions and memories over time.
In her note, the actress mentioned several important films from her career, including Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, Ghulam, Black, Bunty Aur Babli, No One Killed Jessica, Mardaani, Hichki, and Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway, among others.
Expressing gratitude, Rani wrote that her love for cinema remains as strong as ever, perhaps even deeper and calmer after three decades. She added that it is incredibly special for her to celebrate 30 years in cinema with Mardaani 3, a franchise that allows her to salute the spirit of today’s women and the resilience of the Indian police force, especially the women who serve the nation.
