At ‘The RajaSaab’ event, Boman Irani praises Prabhas’ simplicity and innocence
Actor Boman Irani is awaiting the release of his upcoming film The RajaSaab, in which he will be seen sharing screen space with Telugu superstar Prabhas. Recently, during a special event held in Mumbai for the film, Boman Irani opened up about his experience of working with Prabhas and spoke at length about the actor’s humble nature and down-to-earth personality.
Boman Irani said that when audiences watch Prabhas on the big screen, he appears larger than life, with a powerful aura that defines superstardom. Naturally, people expect that someone of his stature would carry a typical superstar attitude in real life as well. However, according to Boman Irani, the reality is completely different.
He shared that Prabhas has no trace of arrogance despite being one of the biggest stars in Indian cinema. Whether it is his own team, fellow actors, artistes playing smaller roles, or technicians on set, Prabhas treats everyone equally and speaks to them with warmth and simplicity. Boman Irani described Prabhas as someone who interacts like a young boy, full of innocence and sincerity.
He further mentioned that Prabhas enjoys his success but never tries to flaunt it. While everyone around him acknowledges his superstardom, Prabhas himself does not expect to be treated like a superstar. His behaviour remains natural and unaffected by fame.
Boman Irani added that Prabhas loves cracking jokes, laughing freely, and enjoying light moments on set. Whenever someone says something funny, Prabhas is often the first to laugh the loudest, giving the impression that he still carries the heart of a teenager. This childlike innocence, according to Boman Irani, is what makes him truly special.
Calling it a beautiful quality, Boman Irani said that retaining such innocence even after reaching great heights in life is rare. He expressed admiration for Prabhas and added that he himself would like to remain the same way, grounded and genuine, regardless of success.
Apart from Prabhas and Boman Irani, The RajaSaab also stars Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar and Zarina Wahab in key roles. The film revolves around the story of a man who, while searching for his missing grandfather, enters a mansion that is haunted by a sinister and mysterious presence.
