Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University has been granted 3 designs registration by the Indian Patent Office namely Versatile Handy Trolley, Scholar Chair and Movable Milking Stool. All these designs have received certification from the Government of India, Whose design numbers are 386671-001, 386669-001 and 386668-001 respectively. All these designs were done by two research students Aysha and Meenu under the supervision of Director Human Resource Management Dr. Manju Mehta.
Vice Chancellor Prof. B.R. Kamboj said that it is a matter of pride that the university has received 3 designs simultaneously. He has appealed to the scientists and researchers of the university to continue making similar efforts in future also so that the name of the university continues to shine.
Versatile Handy Trolley: The trolley is made up of iron, it is designed to reduce muscle stress and fatigue by providing easy access. It helps to carry heavy load from one place to another by which productivity increases. Rods on the three sides of trolley provided for support by which any material which is going to be carry do not fall/slide. It prevents people from Muscle skeletal disorders.
Scholar’s Chair: The chair is made up of iron; the seat and back of the chair is cushioned for making the comfortable sitting. The back is slightly skewed for proper support and to reduce the stress on back. A panel is attached to the left arm side of the chair for various purposes like studying, reading or eating etc. The panel can be fold back to its position when it is not in use. This workstation provides support to the body of the worker while doing work and prevents from any kind of spinal discomforts. The foldable feature of this product also saves the space.
Moveable Milking Stool: The stool is made up of iron and seat is cushioned for making the comfortable sitting. The back support is also provided to reduce the stress on back. The workstation developed provides the workers an aid to lessen the discomfort and healthy occupational methods in workplace. The milking can be done easily by moving the stool while sitting with the help of small wheels attached with it.
