On Friday, during the sacred festival of Chaitra Navratri, a divine and mesmerizing ‘Surya Tilak’ ceremony was performed on Shri Ramlala at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. The spiritually charged moment coincided with the celebration of Ram Navami, marking the birth anniversary of Lord Ram, leaving the entire city immersed in devotion and emotion.
Despite overcast skies since morning, a remarkable turn of events unfolded when the sun emerged at around 11:50 AM. Precisely at noon, the rays of the sun aligned perfectly to illuminate the forehead of Shri Ramlala, creating the sacred ‘Surya Tilak’ a celestial spectacle that lasted for nearly five minutes.
As the divine light graced the deity’s forehead, the atmosphere within the grand Ram Temple reached its spiritual peak. Devotees witnessed the moment with awe and reverence, as chants and celebrations echoed throughout Ayodhya.
