Begins special campaign to install air-conditioners in government schools from village Ramnagar in Malout constituency

With the aim of fulfilling the aspirations of students studying in govet schools, Punjab Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur has launched a distinctive initiative from the Malout Assembly Constituency under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann. As part of this initiative, Dr. Baljit Kaur today inaugurated a special campaign to install air-conditioners in government primary and middle schools of village Ramnagar.
Sharing details about this initiative, the Minister said that this campaign has been started to provide a comfortable and student-friendly environment for learning in government schools. She informed that, under this initiative, six air-conditioners and two water coolers of 50-litre capacity each have been installed in the government schools of village Ramnagar at a total cost of approximately 2.5 lakh.
Additionally, Dr. Baljit Kaur also handed over a cheque of 8,100 as financial assistance for the Kabaddi tournament being organised in the village.
The Cabinet Minister stated that this outreach will play a crucial role in supporting the hopes and ambitions of students, and helping them realise their goals. She added that under the ‘Education Revolution’ campaign of the Punjab Government, significant reforms are already being brought in the basic infrastructure of government schools. She further said that her personal interest lies in works that can improve the standard of living of the common people, and she is continuously working diligently for the welfare of the public.
Dr. Baljit Kaur highlighted that this initiative, launched today, also reflects the commitment of the state government towards providing not just academic but emotional and infrastructural support to students — preparing them to confidently face future challenges.
On this occasion, Chairman of the Cooperative Bank Jagdev Singh Bam, Personal Secretaries Arshdeep Singh Sidhu and Shinderpal Singh, former Sarpanch Bhupinder Singh, Sarpanch Sandeep Kaur, Ram Singh, Sandeep Singh, Lovely Sandhu, Gurpreet Singh, Nikka Pardhan, Harmel Singh, Balraj Singh, Shinder Singh, Shankal Lal, Gurmeet Singh Brar, Sukhjinder Singh Bhullar, Kuldeep Singh, Principal Shishu Bala, Principal Jagmeet Singh, along with Sarpanches, Panches and other eminent residents of various villages were also present.
