The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chandigarh has appointed Dr. Sanjeev Bhatia as the in-charge of its Medical Cell, aiming to further strengthen the party’s structure.
The appointment was officially announced through a letter issued by State General Secretary Sanjeev Kumar Rana. It was made following the approval of State President Jatinder Pal Malhotra and with the consent of State Cell and Department In-Charge Shakti Prakash Devshali.
Party leadership expressed confidence that Dr. Bhatia will bring his experience to guide the Medical Cell in a new direction. He has previously served in key positions at a medical college hospital and the Sector 16 multi-specialty hospital. He is also actively involved in organizing medical camps, especially for diabetes patients.
According to the party, strengthening the Medical Cell is part of its broader strategy to enhance grassroots outreach. Dr. Bhatia’s appointment is expected to provide a platform for healthcare professionals associated with the party, further boosting health camps, awareness drives, and public welfare initiatives.
The BJP stated that several public welfare programs will be launched through the Medical Cell in the coming time.
