Ludhiana, Punjab: Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini delivered a powerful and uplifting spiritual message, stating that true wealth lies not in worldly riches but in earning the divine ‘Naam’ and seeking the blessings of the Guru. Addressing the closing ceremony of a grand religious congregation at Gurdwara Sri Nanaksar Sahib, he emphasized that in today’s fast-paced life, real peace can only be found in the Guru’s presence.

Extending greetings on the auspicious occasions of Durga Ashtami and Ram Navami, the Chief Minister described Sri Nanaksar Sahib as a sacred place founded through the deep penance of Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj. He highlighted that the flame of devotion lit here continues to illuminate millions of lives. He also recalled the spiritual dedication of Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj, who meditated in solitude at this holy site for seven years, making it a center of divine peace.

Paying tribute to Baba Narayan Singh Ji, CM Saini said his life symbolizes true service and obedience. He shared the remarkable example of Baba Narayan Singh Ji carrying water over a distance of 24 kilometers daily for seven years on his Guru’s command, showcasing unmatched devotion and discipline.

Highlighting the uniqueness of the shrine, he noted that the entire complex was built without a formal blueprint, guided purely by faith and devotion. He praised the distinctive tradition of langar at Nanaksar Sahib, where devotees prepare food in their homes and bring it to share, reflecting unity and equality. He also appreciated the humble service of Baba Ghala Singh Ji.

The Chief Minister further emphasized the Haryana Government’s efforts to promote the teachings of Sikh Gurus through initiatives like the ‘Sant-Mahapurush Vichar Samman Prachar Evam Prasar Yojana’. He recalled the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur and mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi released commemorative items during a state-level event.

Reaffirming commitment, CM Saini highlighted key initiatives including memorials, renamed institutions, and support for families affected during the 1984 riots, urging everyone to follow the path of love, service, and unity.
