Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh-

In a significant decision, the Haryana Government has approved construction of a Sub Health Centre at Nathera Village in Rewari district.

Health Minister Arti Singh Rao informed that CM Nayab Singh Saini has granted approval for the construction and opening of Sub Health Centre at Nathera village in Rewari. She said the centre will be established on available Panchayat land and will aim to strengthen primary healthcare services in rural areas. The centre will provide essential health services such as maternal and child care, immunization, disease prevention, and basic treatment for the local population. This project is part of a key announcement made by Chief Minister, reflecting the state government's proactive approach to strengthening healthcare infrastructure across Haryana.

Health Minister said, “This initiative is not just about infrastructure, it is about empowering citizens with better health outcomes. By bringing healthcare closer to home, we are reducing the burden on distant hospitals and making healthcare more inclusive. It is our vision that no family in Haryana should have to travel far for basic medical support. This new centre is a step in that direction.”

The new Sub Health Centre will have one Male Multi-Purpose Health Worker (MPHW-M), one Female Multi-Purpose Health Worker (MPHW-F) and one Helper. The centre will also be equipped with necessary medical infrastructure, equipment and essential medicines.
