Singer opens up about pre-show nervousness, fans’ energy, and the success of her hit song ‘Shararat’
Mumbai. Popular singer Jasmine Sandlas, who is currently enjoying the success of her hit song ‘Shararat’ from the film Dhurandhar, has shared her emotions and nervousness felt just moments before stepping on stage. Despite the anxiety, the singer says that performing live gives her the greatest high and makes her feel truly alive.
Jasmine Sandlas recently shared a video on social media in which she is seen walking towards the stage wearing a pink lehenga, ready to perform. Along with the video, she opened up about what she experiences just a minute before going live. According to the singer, her vision starts to blur, her heart beats loudly, and her hands begin to tremble the moment she holds the microphone.
In her caption, Jasmine wrote that this nervousness is something she experiences before every show. However, she added that once she steps on stage, all the fear disappears. She credits her fans for giving her life and energy during live performances. For her, the connection with the audience is what turns every show into a memorable experience.
Speaking further, the singer said that being on stage is her only addiction. After every performance, she often asks her team how the show went, whether everything was fine, and if she sang in the right pitch. She described this entire experience as life itself and expressed gratitude with a heartfelt “Waheguru.”
Her latest song ‘Shararat’ is featured in Aditya Dhar’s film Dhurandhar and is picturised on actresses Ayesha Khan and Krystal D’Souza during a wedding celebration sequence. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal in key roles, along with several supporting actors.
Talking about her journey, Jasmine Sandlas began her career with the song ‘Muskaan’ in 2008. She made her Bollywood playback debut in 2014 with ‘Yaar Naa Miley’ from the film Kick. Some of her recent hits include ‘Taras’ from Munjya (2024) and ‘Nasha’ from Raid 2 (2025). She has also received several awards and has been featured on platforms like TEDx, MTV Coke Studio, and spoken word stages.
