Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Punjab General Secretary Baltej Pannu has accused Union Home Minister Amit Shah of attempting to engineer a split within the party by poaching its Members of Parliament. He alleged that efforts are being made to break AAP by targeting its Rajya Sabha MPs.
Pannu claimed that senior AAP leader Raghav Chadha is being used as a “tool” in this alleged political strategy. According to him, there is a deliberate attempt to lure party MPs and destabilize the organization from within.
He further alleged that pressure tactics, including investigative actions, are being used to influence MPs. Pannu criticized Chadha, stating that the party had elevated him, but he is now acting against its interests.
The remarks come amid rising political tensions, with AAP leaders accusing central agencies and top BJP leadership of interfering in opposition parties’ functioning.
