A shocking case of domestic abuse has come to light from the New Punjab Mata Nagar area of Ludhiana, where a woman has accused her husband of years of unnatural sexual assault and extreme brutality.

According to the complaint, the woman alleged that her husband repeatedly subjected her to physical and sexual abuse over several years after their marriage in 2008. She stated that the situation worsened after 2013, when his behaviour turned increasingly violent and abusive.

The victim further alleged that the accused pressured her into unnatural acts and assaulted her whenever she refused. She also claimed that he would exploit her financial dependence, forcing her to comply with his demands when she asked for money for household expenses and their children’s needs.

In a particularly disturbing allegation, the woman stated that on the night of April 6, the accused, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, brutally assaulted her and inserted a beer bottle into her private parts. She also accused him of beating her severely before throwing her out of the house.

The victim later informed her mother and secretly recorded evidence using a mobile phone camera hidden in her bedroom. The footage reportedly supported her allegations. On April 7, she left the house in an injured condition and sought medical treatment before filing a complaint at Dugri police station.

Police have registered a case against the accused after investigation and have arrested him. He has been produced in court and sent to two days of police remand. The victim’s medical examination is also underway, officials said. Authorities continue to investigate the case.
