Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is currently on a visit to the Netherlands. He travelled there to strengthen bilateral partnerships and to attract investment in sectors such as food processing, logistics, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, and information technology. Today, he visited the 'World Horti Centre' during his tour.
He stated that the purpose of his visit was to gain insights into modern horticultural techniques, advanced farming practices, and strategies for optimizing resource utilization among farmers. Emulating the approach of developed nations, Punjab intends to forge significant agreements (tie-ups) with these major industries to further advance the state's agricultural sector.
Mann affirmed that the objective is to introduce this global technology to Punjab, thereby ensuring a more prosperous and secure future for the state's hardworking farmers. The visit aims to bolster the state's ongoing industrial and economic initiatives.
