Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Mohsina Kidwai passed away on Wednesday at the age of 94. Her family confirmed that she breathed her last on Wednesday morning at Metro Hospital in Noida.
Her son-in-law, Raziur Rahman Kidwai, said that she had been suffering from age-related ailments. He added that her last rites will be performed at around 5 PM at the Nizamuddin graveyard.
Mohsina Kidwai was a former Union Minister who handled key portfolios in the government led by former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. Over the years, she also served as a Member of Parliament in both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha.
