A tragic incident occurred in Suncity Colony of Rewari, where a moving auto overturned after a child accidentally pressed the accelerator while playing. The accident claimed the life of four-year-old Kartik. Preliminary investigation suggests negligence in parking the vehicle.
According to Suncity resident Pankaj, his four-year-old nephew Kartik was a UKG student. After returning from school, Kartik’s mother sent him to a nearby shop to buy some items. A neighbor, Divender, had parked his auto near the shop in a running condition. Kartik climbed into the vehicle and, while playing, pressed the accelerator. The auto suddenly sped forward, hit a roadside divider, and overturned.
The incident created panic in the area. Locals quickly pulled the child out from under the auto and rushed him to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
As soon as the family received the news, chaos and grief spread in the household. The City Police Station has registered an FIR against the driver based on a complaint filed by the child’s uncle and has begun an investigation.
